Realty Wholesale Carpet Inc. has been in business in the Indianapolis area since 1991. We're a family owned business and the 4th generation of a proud floor covering family. My great grand-father had the first specialty flooring store in the state of Kentucky where he sold Oriental rugs, oval braids, window shades, and "oil cloth" that we now call linoleum. He was one of 7 children brought up in that business. When my grand-father finished high school he was put "on the road" selling rugs and "oil cloth" up and down the Mississippi when steamboats and paddle-wheelers where the mode of transportation and a horse and cart were the only way to the small out-of-the-way general stores of that day. My father started in the business in 1949 and is still active after 56 years ! Our success is based upon dedication, good service, and low prices. Often, our prices are 15% to 35% lower than most retail stores including the big box discounters. We absolutely sell for less. We keep our overhead low; we are exceptional buyers, and the manufacturers respect us and respond with their best prices. We pass all of this on to you. As for service, words can only go so far.
